Police handed out a thousand leaflets in Burton town centre as they look to trace Tyler Gardner.

The 18-year-old was last seen leaving the Manitoba nightclub in High Street, Burton, at around 12.35am on February 26. He had previously planned to stay with family in Burton that night but he left early. It is believed he had the intention to make his way home to Lichfield.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: “A large image of Tyler was projected onto a building in High Street from 8pm into the early hours and a number of taxis were stopped and the drivers spoken to during the evening.

“Detectives are now sifting through the information gathered to establish if there are any new lines of enquiry.

“Around 500 leaflets and a number of posters were also handed out around Lichfield city centre.”
