Strike duo Olly Budd and Kyle Minto were on target as Lichfield City FC wrapped up their pre-season campaign with a victory against Polesworth.
Paul Holt’s men enjoyed lengthy spells of possession as they geared up for the new term with Budd opening his side’s account with a clever turn and shot.
His effort was followed by strike partner Minto who nodded home to double the advantage.
Lichfield’s league season begins on Saturday (August 3) when they entertain Bolehall Swifts, kick-off 3pm.
