The police helicopter has helped catch a man who failed to stop for officers.
The pursuit started in Whittington at around 2.30pm today (March 7) when a white Ford Escort Convertible made off after a police patrol car attempted to make a routine stop.
The chase lasted around eight minutes before the man – who is from the Lichfield area – was arrested.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “The police helicopter was used to support the ground based officers with a search of the area as the investigation continues.”
