One of Lichfield’s main car parks is to close for for resurfacing.
The Bird Street facility will close from March 30 to April 1 and from Easter Monday to April 7.
Richard King, Lichfield District Council’s Strategic Director for Democratic, Development & Legal Services, said: “Bird Street is a really popular car park and gets lots of wear and tear, so needs to be resurfaced.
“We’ve tried to time the works so they will have the least disruption for visitors and traders, and while we apologise for any inconvenience the works may cause, we are confident it will be worth it in the long-run.”
