Drivers heading out of Lichfield have been forced to find alternative routes after the A38 was closed this evening (November 9).
A lorry and trailer became detached forcing police to shut the southbound carriageway between the A5148 and the A5.
A spokesperson for Highways England said: “Please allow extra time for journeys if you are travelling in the area.”
