THE decade that gave us shoulder pads, leg warmers and very big hair will be celebrated at a gig in Lichfield.
The Sunday Acoustic Lounge at The Hub at St Mary’s on 14th June will invite the audience to dig out the hairspray for a journey back to the 1980s.
Guest vocalists will include West End performer Niki Evans and vocalist Clare Andress.
They will be joined by local rising star Issy Taylor and singer-songwriter Bryan Brindley.
Anthony Evans, creative director at The Hub, said:
“The 1980s was when fashion was bold, technology was groundbreaking and the excesses of Wall Street made the headlines, but an explosion of great music saw us through it.”
Tickets are £18 and can be booked at thehubstmarys.co.uk.
