Staff from Stowe Mount care home in Lichfield marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A LICHFIELD care home is going pink to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Stowe Mount is inviting people to join residents for coffee, cake and bingo from 10am on 23rd October.

The event has been organised to recognise the journey of one of its carers who was diagnosed with both breast and skin cancer.

Rebecca Bristow, general manager at Stowe Mount said:

"Fiona is an inspiration to us all. Throughout everything she has faced, she has remained caring and positive.

"Turning Stowe Mount pink is our way of celebrating her, recognising her achievements and showing our support for everyone affected by breast cancer."
