ALREWAS slipped to a five-wicket home defeat against Duffield.
After opting to bat first, the hosts saw runs hard to come by as they struggled to 13-5 after six overs.
But a 31 from Stephen Cole and an unbeaten 49 from Thomas Sherratt eventually got the innings back on track as they reached 159 before being bowled out.
Duffield lost two early wickets to reach 31-2, but an unbeaten 67 by Jedli van Briesies helped them ease past the target for the loss of just five wickets.
Alrewas bowlers Craig Swinfield and Sam van Daesdonk both took two wickets, while Sherratt claimed the other.
