Lichfield racing driver Adam Christodoulou continues to enjoy Germany after a podium finish for the third weekend in a row.

Following successes at Nurburgring, the city speedster returned to the famous circuit behind the wheel of the BMW M3 GT4 for the VLN Championship.

And a second place finish for Christodoulou and his team-mates Jens Montfindt and Alex Mies represented yet another good result for the Lichfield man.

“It was a tough race,” he said. “The car felt pinned to the track as it should, but I think we ran to much down force and it slowed us down on the straights.

“We made an adjustment in the pit stop, and it did improve the car, but it was too late. At least we can avoid it next time.

“We managed to close the gap in the championship, so even with second place the team and I are happy, and with two races in the championship still to go anything can happen.”
