Police are appealing for help to find a motorist who stole fuel from three Lichfield petrol stations.
The offender, in a white Peugeot van, took diesel from Tesco petrol station on Church Street shortly before 3pm, then from Morrison’s forecourt on Beacon Street just after 3pm and from the Shell garage on London Road at around 3.10pm on Monday (September 19).
It is believed the van was bearing false registration plates of VK08 NKH.
The thief is described as white, thin, between 5ft 6 and 5ft 10ins tall, aged in his 20s, with dark clothes and dark hair.
