POLICE are appealing for information after a canal barge was damaged by thieves in Handsacre.
It had been moored near to bridge 57 in the Tuppenhurst Lane area when two incidents happened between 25th June and 1st July.
Officers say locks were damaged, mooring ropes cut and items stolen.
Anyone with information can contact police on 101, quoting incident 467 of 1st July.
