Armistice Day has been marked with a ceremony at the National Memorial Arboretum near Lichfield.
Hundreds visited the site at Alrewas to pay their respects at the service of remembrance.
The armed forces memorial was the centrepiece of the service, with the sun beaming through the site as the clock struck 11am.
