AN award-winning author will be shining a spotlight on her work for youngsters at a local school.
A M Dassu will be a special guest at Chase Terrace Academy tomorrow (29th June).
Her work has previously seen her named as one of the National Literacy Trust's Connecting Stories campaign's leading authors helping to inspire a love of reading among young people.
A spokesperson for the school said:
"Our Year 7 and 8 students will enjoy assemblies based on her acclaimed novel Kicked Out, followed by a special workshop where selected pupils can ask questions and learn more about her writing journey."
