Lichfield Cathedral is to host BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions? programme once again.
The long-running debate show has been running since 1948 and on January 27, 2012, it will come to Lichfield.
Each week the programme visits a different community with a panel of four speakers – chaired by Jonathan Dimbleby – who answer questions from an audience.
The panel of personalities for the Lichfield edition of the show will include former Labour Home Secretary David Blunkett and novelist Will Self.
The Very Revd Adrian Dorber, Dean of Lichfield, said: “We are delighted to welcome BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions? to Lichfield Cathedral.
“The programme makes a great contribution to public debate about all the big issues of the day, bringing together politicians, journalists and the public in a direct and accessible way. It always makes good listening and I’m greatly looking forward to the broadcast.”

Tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis and applications should be made early to avoid disappointment.
The programme will aire on January 27 at 8pm, with a repeat on January 28.
