A beaver group in Lichfield have been boosted by a new donation.
Funds were handed over by the Lichfield Ladies Circle to help the organisation by a cooker for overnight camping.
Local chair Sue Kershaw presented the cheque for £280 to the Lichfield 7th Scout Group.
A spokesperson said: “In the past, the lack of cooking facilities has limited the overnight camps available, as with no cooking facilities available at the hut – other than camping stoves – food provision for both for Beavers and leaders has been restricted and limited.”
