Bird expert Bob Russon will be leading an early morning walk to celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day.
The walk will set off from Bunkers Hill car park in Beacon Park on May 1 at 4am.
Chris Walsh, biodiversity officer for Lichfield District Council, said:
“This is a great chance to watch the sun come up, while listening to beautiful birdsong and doing a spot of bird watching. If you do join us, please remember to wear warm clothes and to bring a pair of binoculars, to make sure you see plenty of birds.”
The Dawn Chorus Walk costs £2.50, which includes hot drinks and biscuits. Places can be booked by calling 01543 308183 or emailing denice.deverall@lichfielddc.gov.uk.
