Breakfast and poetry are set to come together as part of the build-up to the Lichfield Mysteries.
The Lichfield Poets will will be reading Mysteries-themed poems of their own at St Mary’s Centre on July 4 and 5, before the Mysteries plays start in the market square outside.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy a breakfast bacon butty and tea or coffee for £3.50 while they listen to the poetry.
The Bards ‘n’ Butties event starts at 10.30 am on both days.
