EXCLUSIVE: Lichfield singer Shaun Smith won’t get carried away by the fame of Britain’s Got Talent, according to the teenager’s girlfriend.
Shaun, 17, is second favourite to win the show after sailing through his audition with a rendition of the Bill Withers classic Ain’t No Sunshine.
But while other acts have in the past failed to cope with the pressure and fame of the show, Shaun’s girlfriend Emily Abbotts believes he will stay grounded.
She told The Lichfield Blog:
“Shaun has an amazing family behind him and some really great friends that will definitely keep him grounded. I think these are the most important thing to Shaun because they support him in all he does, and he doesn’t want to forget his roots.”
