One of the main contracts for a £14million Lichfield redevelopment scheme has been awarded.

Miller Construction will build the new car park and homes on the Friary Outer project.
S Harrison Developments Ltd confirmed that the national firm will start work on the site in early April.
Councillor Mike Wilcox, leader of Lichfield District Council, said: “We’re delighted Miller Construction has been appointed as the contractors for this exciting new development, and pleased that work is set to start on site in early April.
“We hope people will bear with us while the car park is out of action, and we’d like to remind visitors to take a look at our online car park map at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/carparkmap to find an alternative place to park.”
