A Burntwood councillor has criticised the decision to axe the Jobsbus service.
The Staffordshire County Council intiative will be withdrawn at the end of the month.

However, Labour representatives on Lichfield District Council are demanding that replacement services are put in place before the Jobsbus is axed.
“It is deplorable that this service is being withdrawn at this time of rising unemployment and economic difficulty,” said Cllr Sue Woodward. “We are hearing whispers that the service is to be replaced within the library but there is no sign of this happening as yet.
“We are demanding that the county council retains this very valuable service until new, and hopefully even better, services are in place.”
