A Burntwood man has died in a crash near Lichfield.
He was driving a green Ford Fiesta when it was involved in a serious collision with a large goods vehicle on the A5 Wall bypass at 11.10am yesterday (April 7).
The driver has yet to be formally identified but police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which left the road closed for three hours while accident investigations were carried out.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 238 of April 7.
