A Burntwood pub has been named as the best in the UK.
The Wych Elm, on Bridge Cross Road, scooped the accolade after coming out on top of a national survey of drinkers.
Undercover ‘mystery shoppers’ also gave the pub top marks for service and food.
Wych Elm regular Bob Wheeler, 75, told The Sun that the success was down to landlords Jodie Allison and Mark Hickman.
He said:
“They keep you coming back, they’re out of this world!”
