A Burntwood group has celebrated its 40th anniversary – by visiting a shipwreck in the Central Pacific.
The Burntwood Sub-Aqua Club was formed in 1972 by enthusiasts wanting a local facility for recreational diving.
But their anniversary trip to one of the best diving sites in the world in Micronesia was a long cry from their home facility at Burntwood Leisure Centre.
The group meets every Saturday from 6pm with a social discussion afterwards.
