A Burntwood woman is among the first new officers for three years to be sworn in by Staffordshire Police.
Katie Page will join 13 others for a ceremony tomorrow (April 30).
They will swear an oath to serve The Queen in front of a Magistrate, Staffordshire Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Ellis and Chief Constable Mike Cunningham.
“These 14 officers are part of an organisation that strives to make a difference to the lives of Staffordshire people,” said Chief Cons Cunningham.
“I’m looking for these new officers to serve with the dedication, passion and selflessness that the public of Staffordshire rightly expect.
“I have personally met with each of these officers and they are all dedicated to serving the people of the county.”
PC Page will be based with the Cannock Chase District Local Policing Team, while Lichfield will be getting a new officer too, with PC Christopher Blanksby taking up a post in the city.
