Homes in Lichfield have been left without water this afternoon.
South Staffs Water say a burst water main has affected homes across the city and in Tamworth.
The company say some properties will be without water, while others have issues with low pressure.
A spokesperson added: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
“Our employees and network partners are working on site and using all available resources to ensure the water supply is restored as quickly as possible.
“We will continue to update customers regarding the situation as more information becomes available.
“When the supply is restored, it is possible some customers may experience brown or milky water. This discolouration is caused because the water main has been disturbed. Customers are advised to run their cold water supply until the water runs clear.”
