Green-fingered Burntwood residents are being urged to show off their shrubs for an annual competition.
The Burntwood in Bloom competition sees locals battle it out in a range of categories.
Councillor Sharon Banevicius, Chairman of Burntwood Town Council said: “The competition has done so much to brighten our environment in the last few years and you might agree that this year, above all, we need to get going and create more colour in our lives.
“The competition entry forms are now available at our offices. The entry form will show you all the categories that hopefully will appeal to residents throughout Burntwood as well as businesses and schools.”
The closing date for entries is July 2. Forms can be collected from Unit 1, Lambourne House, Bridge Cross Road or downloaded from www.burntwood-tc.gov.uk.
