Teams in Lichfield and Burntwood are being urged to get creative and build a vehicle to take part in a push kart derby.
The event will return to Sankey’s Corner on July 16 as part of the Burntwood Wakes.
Cannock Road will be converted into a race track for the day with people-powered karts battling it out.
Hundreds of spectators lined the street last year for the first ever running of the event and Kevin Wilson, from organisers KP Events is hoping for another strong turnout.
“Already we are expecting more teams from the local community, schools, companies and a wide spread of organisations and sets of individuals. It should be a brilliant occasion that the town can be proud of.”
