Volunteers are being asked to roll up their sleeves and help carry out work on conservation areas around Lichfield.
Two sessions have been scheduled by the Countryside and Parks Conservation Group on:
- November 5 at Muckley Corner.
- November 19 at Saddlers Wood.
The second day will feature thinning of the overgrown and unmanaged woodland, to create glades.
Councillor Ian Pritchard said: “We are grateful to our CPCG volunteers who continue to help us to maintain important parks and green spaces across the district. We’re always keen for more people to join the group, so if you are interested in nature conservation, please contact us to find out how to get involved.”Both days will run from 10.30am to 3pm.
