A new community partnership and campaign begins this week in North Lichfield.
Fusion Credit Union, Lichfield Live and Curborough Community Association have secured funding and are working together to spread the message to Stop Loan Sharks – and the benefits of using your local community bank for savings and loans.
The ambitious programme will kick off with a community meeting tomorrow (13th September) between 6.30pm and 8.00pm at Curborough Community Centre.
The Curborough Chat will introduce the Stop Loan Sharks campaign as well as give an update on the Save Friary Grange Leisure Centre campaign. There will be the opportunity for other local groups and organisations to speak about their work and residents to have their say as well.
There will be two community newsletters published in late 2019 and early 2020 promoting the many great voluntary sector organisations that operate in the North Lichfield area.
Produced by Lichfield Live, they will be delivered to over 3,000 homes locally. There will also be a calendar with artwork form local school pupils and other events to be announced.
Contributions are required for the first issue of the newsletter to be delivered in October 2019. Submissions can be sent to jamesflinthamcca@gmail.com.
