Lichfield residents are being given the chance to find out more about the art of creating a rag rug.
A workshop for beginners at Beacon Park will show them how to give new life to scraps of material.
Councillor Val Richards said: “This is a great opportunity to find out how to use up scraps of material and weave them into a rug, just in time for Christmas.
“Places must be booked in advance, and if you are coming along to one of the workshops, please make sure you bring along some old clothes and material for the rags.”
Two hour sessions take place at 10am, noon and 2pm, are suitable for people aged over eight and cost £5.
