Lichfield residents can find out more about funding from developers at an event taking place at the end of May.
The Section 106s Uncovered event is being hosted by Lichfield District Council at Wade Street Church Hall on May 27 from 4pm to 6.30pm.
The event will display past and current projects that have been funded with Section 106 monies – including plans for Lichfield city centre’s £3.9 million heritage parks makeover.
The event is also an opportunity to see the feedback from local people on the recent Lichfield City consultation, and their ideas for potential 106 funded projects.
Councillor Neil Roberts, Cabinet Member for Development Services, said:
“Our Planning Policy and Implementation Teams work hard with developers to make sure Section 106 Agreements secure money for local building and regeneration projects. We are always keen to find out what community projects local people really want to see developed. So, if you are interested in boosting your local community, find out more by coming along to Wade Street Church Hall on May 27.”
The Section 106 team will be on hand throughout the event to answer questions about how the funding can make a real difference to the district.
