People are being urged to find out more about being a councillor.

Lichfield District Council will give people the chance to find out about the skills needed to be an elected representative.

Two Be A Councillor sessions will take place at District Council House on Frog Lane on October 10 – one from 1pm to 4pm and one from 5pm to 8pm.

Diane Tilley, chief executive of Lichfield District Council, said: “We’re hoping people from different backgrounds, experiences and positions will consider standing for election in May 2019 and that plenty of people come along to our two sessions to find out what being a councillor involves.”

To register your interest in attending either of the sessions, email christine.lewis@lichfielddc.gov.uk
