Chasetown FC beaten 3-0 by youthful Cardiff City side

Experience in front of goal was the difference between the two sides as the Championship side opened their new stand at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Chasetown were the invited guests following their friendship since the FA Cup of 2008.

Cardiff took the lead inside ten minutes when Kadeem Harris seized on a defensive error and dinked the ball over the advancing John Bateman.

Tommy O’Sullivan had his effort saved before Bradley Williams drilled home the rebound.

Chasetown struck the crossbar midway through the second half via Nathan Waite but the Bluebirds extended their advantage with a sweet drive from Danny Johnson.
