Chasetown’s home game against Gresley Rovers is the latest local sporting fixture to fall foul of the weather.
Rugby fixtures for Burntwood and Lichfield have also bitten the dust, with football also failing to go ahead after a mid-morning pitch inspection at The Scholars Ground saw the playing surface declared unfit.
Lichfield City, however, will see their fixture against AFC Wulfrunians go ahead on the 3G pitch at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium.
