A charity fundraiser in Chasewater has now pulled in more than £11,000.

Around 600 people ran the Chasewater Country Park Mile last spring in aid of Sport Relief – but the total has only just been revealed.
Councillor Val Richards said: “Our team at Chasewater worked really hard to organise the fun run and make sure lots of people took part and collected sponsorship.
“We knew it had been a successful event, but we’re all so impressed with just how much money all the runners raised.
“Well done and thank you to everyone who took part and to all those who supported them, raising vital funds for Sport Relief 2012.”
The eventual total raised was £11,258.
