Young visitors to Chase Terrace Park have been enjoying a new swing set.
The play equipment was installed after a £1,000 donation from Councillor Sue Woodward’s Staffordshire Local Community Fund, £1,000 from Burntwood Town Council and £700 from Lichfield District Council.
““Through speaking to residents, I knew that a swing set was a very popular choice to boost Chase Terrace Park’s playground,” said Cllr Woodward. “I am thrilled it is in place and that it is being enjoyed by many children already.”
In the coming weeks, Lichfield District Council will also extend the play area’s fencing.
