COMMUNITY choirs will perform songs from the past at a concert at Lichfield Cathedral.
Hits from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s will be served up at 7pm on 28th January.
The concert will be fronted by The Rock-It’s Band and feature the Kaleidoscope Choir, The Fradley Village Choir, Ladies Who Lark, MusicShare’s Young Voices, the Stagecoach Choir and pupils from Lichfield Cathedral School.
Cait Hodgkiss, who is directing the concert, said:
“There’s nothing quite like live music. The communal energy and shared emotion people feel when they come together for a massed choir event is incredible.
“We will be performing guaranteed dance floor fillers in a different context that are guaranteed to banish the winter blues.
“So don’t sit at home listening to music on your own, come and join us for an exciting live experience and give yourself a musical boost.”
