The chairman of Lichfield District Council has hosted a fundraising wine-tasting event in the city.

The evening, at Worth Brothers Wines on Beacon Street, saw Cllr David Leytham and more than 40 guests – including Michael Fabricant MP – sample a selection of nine tipples.

The event saw more than £350 raised for Lichfield Young Carers and Lichfield Arthritis Care.

We had a lovely evening tasting excellent wine and enjoying good company,” said Cllr Leytham. “I would like to thank everyone that attended, helping to support two worthwhile local charities.”
