People in Lichfield and Burntwood are being reminded to make sure they are able to vote in future.

Lichfield District Council has sent enquiry forms to every property in the area to confirm who lives there and is eligible to vote.

Reminders are now going out to those who have not returned them.

Diane Tilley, electoral registration officer for Lichfield District Council, said: “It’s important that you respond to your household enquiry form.

“Please remember that responding to it is not the same as registering to vote and, if anyone is not registered at your household, they will need to register individually.

“All of this information is available on the form and our reminder letter, so simply follow the steps to make sure you secure your vote.”
