Labour councillors are asking Burntwood residents for their views on the future of the area.
District and Town Councillors representing Boney Hay, Central, Chase Terrace, Chasetown and Summerfield wards will be meeting local people at their regular advice surgery from 10am to 11am on Saturday (October 1) at Burntwood Library.

While councillors will be there to deal with individual problems residents may have they also want to hear what residents want for the town.
“The Town Council is now working on the Town Strategy and various members are leading on particular areas,” explained Don Isaacs, Leader of Burntwood Town Council. “But we can’t do it alone – we need to know what residents would like to see in Burntwood over the next few years and particularly if they would like to get more involved in this process.
“Any Burntwood resident can just turn up on Saturday morning. If they can’t do that then if they let the Town Council know on 01543 677166 we will get back to them.”
