A Lichfield man whose noisy dogs disturbed his neighbours has been hit with an £800 fine.
Lichfield District Council took 48-year-old Robert Wood, of Lyn Avenue in Lichfield, to court where he pleaded guilty to breaching a noise abatement notice.
The notice had been served by the council after his dogs continued to disturb neighbours with excessive barking.
Cllr Ian Pritchard said:
“This is the second time we have prosecuted Mr Wood for noise nuisance and we hope this latest prosecution will encourage him to become more considerate, making sure his dogs are not causing a problem for his neighbours.”
The court ordered Mr Wood to pay a fine of £800 as well as £698 court costs and a victim surcharge of £15.
