Parish councillors in Lichfield have been grilling Staffordshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner.
Matthew Ellis came under the spotlight in a lively debate at the Parish Forum last week.
He spoke to them about his vision for policing, including the growth of the Staffordshire Young Police Cadets Service.
The Commissioner said: “It was a tough but enjoyable 80 minutes with parish councillors from the Lichfield area.
“There were good questions and debate and a huge amount of support. I’m really pleased that people recognise what I’m trying to do.”
