Cross city line passengers travelling to and from Lichfield facing another evening of delays and cancellations

Passengers travelling to and from Lichfield on the cross city line are facing another evening of delays.

Problems on the line near Selly Oak have led to delays and cancellations, with commuters urged to uses buses instead where possible.

Train operator London Midland says ticket acceptance is in place on parts of the journey, with road transport available between Lichfield Trent Valley and stations to Sutton Coldfield.

The disruption is expected to last for the rest of the evening.
