THE curtain has come down on a record-breaking run for the Lichfield Garrick’s annual pantomime.
A total of 88 performances – the longest ever panto run at the city centre theatre – of Jack and the Beanstalk took place.
The Lichfield Garrick show saw more than 42,600 people attend, including 500 who benefited from the Big Ticket Appeal for people facing hardship or challenges.
A spokesperson for the theatre said:
“The Garrick panto has come to an end for another year and we want to say a huge thank you to Sam Rabone, Ben Thornton, Gill Jordan, Evolution Productions, all of the cast and crew, and all of the wonderful audiences who came along, sang their hearts out, cheered the goodies, booed the baddies and yelled that there was a ghost.
“We can’t wait to see everyone for Cinderella later this year.”
Sam Rabone will once again star in the next pantomime, with tickets on sale now for the run between 21st November 2025 and 11th January 2026.
