THREE players have confirmed their exits from Lichfield City.

Josh Mansell, James Wilcock and Jack Edwards will all leave this summer.

It comes after Lichfield’s move to the Northern Premier League West division after a season in the Midlands division

Defender Mansell’s decision brings the curtain down on five years at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium across two spells.

He said

Mansell said:

“What an amazing journey I’ve had – 178 appearances, two promotions and one league title.

“I’ve loved every single second and have been proud to have been a part of the club’s journey of success.

“This wasn’t an easy decision, but with the club moving leagues and work commitments it’s unachievable for me personally.

“The memories I’ve created will last a lifetime and I have made friends that I now call close friends. I wish the club every success because it’s what it deserves.”

Their departures follow that of goalkeeper Brendon Bunn following the conclusion of the season.
