RESIDENTS are being reminded to check for temporary changes to bin collection dates over the festive period.
Homes which usually have collections on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday will receive bin tags providing information about alternative dates.
Those who see blue or black bins collected on a Thursday are Friday are being asked to put them out one day later than usual after Christmas and New Year.
The regular schedule returns from on 6th January.
Lichfield District Council’s cabinet member for operational services, parks and waste, Councillor Phil Whitehouse, said:
“If your normal bin day is Thursday or Friday, it’s simple, just put your bins out a day later than usual after Christmas and New Year for a total of two weeks.”
