A lifesaving defibrillator has been donated to the Lichfield Trent Valley Community First Responder Group.

Lichfield St Chad Rotary, which made the donation, said they hoped the equipment would make a difference in the local community.
A spokesperson said: “For the best chance of survival, a shock to the heart should be delivered within the first five minutes. The likelihood of successful resuscitation decreases by approximately 10% with every minute that passes.
“This donation of a defibrillator will help increase the chance that someone suffering a heart attack in Lichfield gets a positive outcome.”
