Lichfield City FC ended the run of poor form with a dramatic 1-0 win over Bolehall Swifts.

The derby had added impetus due to the inclusion of former City men in the Bolehall line-up.
And it was one of those who was to play a key part in the outcome of the game as Jon Huckfield was penalised for a foul on Liam Holt with just a minute left on the clock.
Lee Osborne kept his nerve to find the net from the spot and claim a much needed victory for Gary Birch’s men.
Although Osborne will claim the plaudits, 18-year-old Lichfield keeper Jon Clough was also a key component in his side’s triumph, saving a 71st minute spot kick to keep the scores level before the last gasp drama.
City return to action on Saturday with a home clash against Uttoxeter Town.
