A man has died after a crash in Lichfield.
The 81-year-old died at Good Hope Hospital in the early hours of this morning (September 25) following the accident on Eastern Avenue at 3.20pm yesterday.
He was driving his blue Fiat Brava towards the A51 when it was involved in a crash with a silver Peugeot 107 travelling in the opposite direction.
Police say the man has yet to be formally identified, but was from the Lichfield area.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “An investigation is now underway. Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 385 of September 24.”
