DRIVERS are being warned of delays during a daytime closure of a road linking Lichfield and Tamworth.
The A51 Tamworth Road will shut near Whittington from 7am to 2pm on 18th July.
The closure will allow temporary barriers installed as part of HS2 works to be removed and the footpath to be fully reopened.
A spokesperson said:
"We will be working on the A51 Tamworth Road from Lichfield Road junction to the roundabout at Chester Road."
A diversion will be in place along Tamedrive, Bitterscote Drive, the A5 and the A5206 London Road.
